About Techniques I Have Loved

This is an informal, personal compendium, not an encyclopedia, though it includes clear and detailed instructions for each technique. The material spans a wide range of categories, including Meditations, Heart, Tantra and Relating, Stones and Crystals, Trance Journeys, Painting, and Out-of-Doors practices.

The approaches range from simple and direct to more complex and exploratory, with a broad spectrum in between. In some cases, I include brief accounts of my own experience. The selection reflects methods I find particularly effective, and is inevitably subjective. Another author might assemble a different collection, with some overlap. The material draws on many sources, including my own long-standing creative inner work.

Designed for practical use, the book features a clear interior layout, and spiral binding that allows pages to lie flat while you work, like a recipe book.

Several of the techniques were previously published in Osho News over the years and are now gathered here in a single volume.

The book is intended as a practical and accessible resource for a wide range of readers, designed to be engaging, varied, and easy to work with.

Endorsements

“Well, I think you have achieved your aim! This is easy to read, the clear and detailed descriptions of what to do should be followable by just about anybody who wants to set aside the time and give it a go. Your ‘voice’ offering anecdotes and insights is warm and engaging. I think the glimpses of deep truths, from your own experience and in quoting the Great Ones, are enlightening.”

— Jenny Harpur (Editor)

“It is wonderful to have such a vast array of techniques at our disposal, to understand and solve the many knots we happen to have to deal with. Some are definitely my favourites and I use them regularly. Thanks, Madhuri, for taking the time to write them all down in such a clear, and often fun, way.”
