A Colorful Dessert of Flowers
This book is made of two long poems: Suppose There Is No Armageddon, and My Personal Utopia. Inspired by Osho’s discourse series/book entitled The Greatest Challenge: the Golden Future (given in the late 80’s in Poona, India)
It is a celebration of Osho’s Utopian vision of what might be possible for us, as humans on Earth. It continues into my own list of joys – hats, bicycles, umbrellas, dancing, and all sorts of things.
The introduction describes how the book came about: While living in a beautiful house in two acres of oak woods in Missouri, I passed through menopause, and began to wake in the wee hours full of a vivid, penetrating energy. The poems arrived as a sort of channelling; written down in the dark.
At the end are eight pages of quotes from different sources.
The book is illustrated with line drawings.
The book was printed in 2016 by a small non-profit press in England. Only 100 copies are in existence. To order, email madhuritourmaline@gmail.com or send a Facebook message directly to me.
