The third one

Today I Killed My Bank Account

Today I killed my bank account
It had kept on biting me
Indifferent tellers riding on its camel back

Numbers jumble me like bad backass dreams
I find in my alphabet soup
So I took revenge

I don’t pay rent,
Got no mortgage, job,
Credit, taxes, car
No kids, no wedding ring
I like to take my clothes off

I sit on the floor to paint
Sleep pillowless
When I go someplace I walk
Toiling like a toddler or a tortoise
Unless you drive me
More fool you
Worried about gas&parking and all the rest

I’m happy in my controversial helplessness
I experiment in reductive mudpies
With all my hands and feet

But I love my passport
